It is interesting that SRJC has Vision / Mission / Values. Most organizations have Mission / Vision / Values. Can anyone identify why SRJC chose the lesser-used organization for this?

Older adult programs were cut and we no longer allow them to continue reenrolling in programs.

I had similar thoughts to Sara- I am curious how this compares to the 55+ population data for the county. Has this changed? Overall cuts to the schedule as well as our recent move to remote could also contribute to this population drop.

Hi Debbie- There is a question asked on CCCApply if students are experiencing homelessness. Also students can self identifywith our Basic Needs dept. with a Student Referral form. So I assume this data is collected or compiled within SRJC.

My apology for extending in info

AB705 prevented placement into pretransfer level 2 years ago. Starting in Fall 2023 we will no longer be allowed to offer pre transfer level math courses. It seems like this really changes the mission of the college from bringing all students from where ever they start to a place where they can improve their lives, to a institution that is solely for preparation of students who transfer.
