annie, there you go!

44:58
@Julie, I work with a very small group of international students so it is easy to pull a report.

45:09
@ Julie. I can track since we have a smaller number of students. With a large amount, it would be a challenge.

45:36
Thanks Sean and Mei

46:33
I'd curious to learn how your colleges are enforcing the vaccination requirement. Is it for those who only want to study in person or is your college requiring it also for students online? Does your college put holds on records to keep students from registering future semester?

46:52
What are the consequences if someone is not in an in-person class?

48:38
@Doriann, at our district student will have to input their record so it will go into Banner and if they are taking an in person class for spring they need to update it within 10 days of registering. If not they will be dropped from in person class.

49:51
@Doriann- at FHDA, students cannot register for any in-person or hybrid class until they have uploaded proof of vaccine (or been approved for waiver). Online only students do not need to submit.

49:57
@remi. THank you. Our students are required to submit their vaccination proof and there are holds placed on records, but doesn't keep them from registering. So it's a challenge.

50:04
@Doriann... at Chabot College, our administrators have decided and implemented a system that requires them to upload their vaccine record (with fully vaccine status) before they are allowed to register for any face to face class. They are able to register for online classes without submitting proof.

50:56
@doriann- we are the same as Sean

52:09
@Dorian - we are requiring the students to upload their vaccine records. Exceptions are being made for students who cannot be vaccinated. They need to provide a negative COVID test prior to their in-person class (72-hour window).

53:59
@Doriann - our campus is urban and closed, so students are required to “badge in” when they enter our campus buildings. If they have not submitted their vaccination records, their badges get deactivated. They cannot enter our building and cannot take classes (and we are 95% in-person so students would run into trouble if they can’t enter our campus buildings).

54:40
Thank you to all for sharing your vaccination process!

55:53
@Becky We don't expect you to monitor the chat AND lead the meeting. That's too much for one person. No worries!

we are still doing paper I-20s

58:21
We are still doing paper I-20s with wet signature. Old school.

58:25
@Alyssa.... I'm curious. Why are you still sending paper I-20 forms?

59:47
Great question! I wasn't a DSO when the decision was made. I think we decided to do that when the guidance about electronic I-20s first came out due to some conflicting guidance and security concerns. I think we just haven't had the capacity to revisit the decision

01:01:29
@Alyssa...I hope for your sake that you will revisit that...it's such a time and money (and stress) saver to be able to sign and send the forms electronically. Good luck!

01:03:08
Are these Burmese students coming through agencies? Do you charge an applicaiton fee?

Our school requires all incoming international students to pay enrollment deposits before we issue Forms I-20. If their visa applications are denied, we ask them to show proof and we refund the money.

01:04:56
You are welcome!

01:06:18
Congrats Becky. @Chabot College, we have AD-T that are approved!
